RCCG's Enoch Adeboye says a new sexual transmitted disease will afflict Nigeria in 2016

altREDEEMED Christian Church of God (RCCG) general overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye has warned that Nigeria faces the threat of being afflicted with a new sexually transmitted disease during the course of 2016.

Delivering the prophesy during a New Year's Day sermon at the Cross Over Service of the church on Thursday night, Pastor Adeboye warned  that a new disease is around the corner. He also prophesised that the socio-economic issues problems afflicting the country would get worse before they improve.

Among the other prophesies, he predicted, which were published on his website include that things are likely to get tougher, before they get better but things will definitely improve before the year ends. Pastor Adeboye also forecast that worldwide, natural disasters such as floods, fires and earthquakes, are likely to get progressively worse, until governments realise that these are part of divine judgment against those who have unholy laws.

He added that if governments will repent of disdaining Christ and his church, God will help them win the fight against terrorism. Furthermore, Pastor Adeboye forecast that major war will be averted this year, that some families will trace the beginning of their generational blessings to this year and some will obtain help from unexpected sources.

Pastor Adeboye added: "For many, the pendulum of life will generally be on the upward swing. A chosen few will receive blessings so large they can hardly contain them.

"What God started last year, he will finish this year, provided we don’t rejoice too soon. Grateful hearts will have more causes to be grateful."

Pastor Adeboye, 73, is one of Nigeria's most influential clergymen with a passionate following that runs into millions. So influential is the clergyman that successive Nigerian governments have sought his support, British prime minister David Cameron attends his London church seminars and the likes of Forbes have had to acknowledge his clout.
