CAC pastor urges Nigerians to stop raining curses on their leaders as it solves nothing

altCHRIST Apostolic Church (CAC) clergyman Pastor Samuel Ojo has pleaded with Nigerians to stop raining curses on their leaders as is always the case whenever the country faces an economic downturn as it does nothing to improve the situation.

Pastor Ojo of the CAC Great Commission District Headquarters, Osere in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, has urged Nigerians to pray for their leaders rather than raining curses on them. Speaking in Ilorin, he said that leaders needed the people’s support to succeed in delivering good governance.

According to Pastor Ojo, insults would not solve the problem bedevilling the country. He added that prayer is the only weapon that can solve the numerous challenges the country is currently facing.

“Our leaders need people’s support through prayers and not curses. Nigerians are fond of raising curses on their leaders rather than praying for them.

“We need to say positive things and declare positive prayers for our Jerusalem (Nigeria), instead of speaking negative things against our dear nation. If everyone in the country would cultivate the habit of praying for the nation and its leaders regularly, God would salvage the nation," Pastor Ojo added.
