In a phone call made by the People's Democratic Party candidate (PDP), Gboyega Isiaka to the Channels TV studio, monitored by NigerianEye he stated that he was confident that he will defeat Governor Amosun of the APC at the Ogun gubernitorial polls.
Gboyega also stated that PDP was currently leading by two-thirds of the votes in Ogun.
When questioned on why he was so confident despite the fact that APC won the presidential polls in the state, Mr Gboyega stated that Ogun people were knowledgeable enough to differentiate that the presidential candidate was different from the governorship candidate.
There is still no official announcement of results by INEC in Ogun sttae.
