British tennis star Andy Murray and his new wife Kim Sears are expecting a baby just four months after they married.
The former Wimbledon champion has only just broken the news Kim is pregnant to family and friends – and the couple are said to be overjoyed by the news.
His mother Judy, who starred in Strictly Come Dancing, is said to be ecstatic, having admitted only a few weeks ago she is dreaming of being a ‘very active granny for sure’.

Equally delighted is 28-year-old Andy’s older brother Jamie, 29, who married Colombian Alejandra Gutierrez in 2010.
Last night, sources said the couple, who wed in April, decided to make their joyous announcement to their families after 27-year-old Kim visited hospital for a 12-week scan.
It is believed the baby is due in February.
Murray had been in scintillating form since his marriage to Kim in his hometown of Dunblane and he has taken to tying his wedding ring to his shoe laces.
His post-wedding winning run was eventually ended when he was defeated by World No1 Novak Djokovic in a five-set thriller in Paris in June.
Murray carried his fine form into Wimbledon but was beaten in last month’s semi-final to a majestic performance by the imperious Roger Federer.
His heroics helped Britain reach the semi-finals of the Davis Cup last month, but he suffered a shock defeat to world No53 Teymuraz Gabashvili on his return to court today.
He will now play Masters events in Montreal and then Cincinnati in the next two weeks in preparation for the US Open on August 31.
Ironically, only weeks earlier fellow former Wimbledon champion Andre Agassi urged the world No3 to start a family to improve his performances and ‘put stuff in perspective’.
Murray, who won gold at the 2012 London Olympics, said in 2013 he and Kim – who have been together for a decade – were considering having a baby.
Previously he has joked his two terrier dogs were his kids and even Skyped them daily when he was playing away in tournaments.
The news comes just days before Murray’s coach Amelie Mauresmo is expected to give birth to her baby.
She announced she was pregnant two days before the British tennis star’s wedding to Kim Sears in the 12th century Dunblane Cathedral followed by a reception at his own five star luxury hotel Cromlix House.
The former world No1 tennis star, who is openly gay, broke the news on social media she is expecting her first baby.
Sussex-born Kim, who is the daughter of former Lawn Tennis Association head of women’s tennis Nigel Sears, met Murray at the US Open in 2005.
She was once described by mother-in-law Judy Murray as ‘the best thing to happen to Andy’.
They split briefly in 2009, before rekindling their relationship.
The couple live in Surrey with their two Border terriers, Maggie May and Rusty.
