British Council to hold annual UK educational exhibition in Lagos and Abuja next month

altINTERNATIONAL and educational cultural organisation the British Council plans to play host over 50 UK institutions in Nigeria where local students and professionals interested in study options can meet and interact with UK representatives.

 

In what is now an annual event, come March, the British Council will hold an annual education UK exhibition. Taking place in Lagos and Abuja, the event will be both educational and cultural, allowing students and professionals interested in international study options to meet and interact with UK institution representatives.

 

Traditionally, the UK has always remained a choice destination for international students who put a premium on quality education. Courses offered in the UK are shorter, more intense and provide greater value for money with embedded entrepreneurial and employability-centred training.

 

A British Council spokesman said: "Participants who wish to attend the Nigeria event must be between the ages of 16 and 45 years and parents with children seeking to attain international education are encouraged to attend this free event. The British Council is on the ground in six continents and over 100 countries, bringing international opportunity to life, every day.

 

"Join us on Wednesday, March 2nd at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja and on Friday March 4 and Saturday March 5 at the InterContinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. Time is 11am to 4pm."
