PDP accuses Buhari of hypocrisy after his 16 year old daughter flies first class to London

PEOPLES Democratic Party (PDP) officials have accused President Muhammadu Buhari of allowing his 16-year old daughter Hannah Aisha Buhari to fly to London first class at the nation's expense despite the government clampdown on squandermania.

 

Since assuming office in May last year, President Buhari has made reducing the cost of governance one of his main priorities. Among other things he has barred government officials from flying first class, cut the size of official entourages and reduced foreign travel for ministers to the bare minimum.

 

According to the opposition PDP, however, President Buhari has not extended these austerity measures to the members of his immediate family. This morning, PDP officials claimed that Hannah flew first class on British Airways, BA flight 083 to London from Abuja.

 

This disclosure was made known via PDP Nigeria Twitter account @PdpNigeria this morning. According to the tweet about the secondary school student, the president's daughter's seat number was 2k.
