Tiwa Savage responds to talk about her private life saying she has never cheated on her hubby

SINGER Tiwa Savage has hot back at recent stories about her in the news claiming she was involved in a string of relationships while married to Tunji Balogun popularly known as Tee Billz claiming they are all lies and misrepresentations.

 

Over the last few days, Tee Billz was reported to have taken to Instagram to accuse his wife, Tiwa Savage of sleeping with top entertainers including Don Jazzy, TuFace Idiba and Dr Sid. Later on, he denied putting out the story, saying that his account was hacked and the hacker posted the claims online.

 

Despite his denial though, the news has taken over social media and finally, Tiwa has decided to respond. Speaking from her home in her Lekki, the posh Lagos suburb, Tiwa pointed out emphatically that she never cheated on her husband.

 

Tiwa added: "I have never cheated on my husband, not with Don Jazzy, not with Dr Sid, not with 2face.and I am willing to take a lie detector test. I have never cheated on my husband and Tunji knows this.

 

"Sometimes in the studio, one of the things that Don Jazzy and some of my other label mates say is that I am really good with interviews, with being diplomatic and knowing how to carry myself with difficult situations. This hurts as I have seen comments of what people are saying about me but it is not true.”

 

In the Instagram post, Tee Billz had claimed that Tiwa Savage has not been supportive of his career ever since she became a super star. Entertainment industry watchers claim that before the public meltdown, there had been a deep crack in the three year old marriage, which has been having problems since last year when Tiwa Savage sacked her husband as her manager.

 

Since then, there have been whispers of things falling apart between them and in 2014, it was rumoured that their marriage had crashed. In one instance, Tiwa failed to wish her husband a happy birthday on her social media page as she normally did every year.

 

According to rumours, Tiwa’s family had admonished Tee Billz to stop managing his wife and look for another lucrative job. It was alleged then that Tee Billz was always beating her up and that she had to move out of the house temporarily to stay with a friend bit family and friends prevailed on the couple not to give up on their marriage.

 

It was also reported that a family meeting was called and a consensus was reached that Tee Billz’s protégé, Mekka Millions should take over as Tiwa’s manager. However, after that episode, there have always been insinuations that all is not well with the couple as they have been the subject of several rumours that their marriage had packed up.
