altSIX men have been arraigned before an Enugu Magistrates Court for beating up two officials of the state's transport ministry officials while they were trying to carry out their officials duties.

According to the prosecuting police officer, C O Ugwu, the accused persons had on July 15 2015 at Chime Avenue, New Haven, Enugu, conspired to attack two enforcement officials of the Enugu State Ministry of Transport Eze Michael and Eze Sunday. He told the court that they thereby committed an offence punishable under section 495 (a) of the Criminal Code Cap 30 Vol. 11 Laws of Enugu State of Nigeria.
