MEN of the Ebonyi State Police Command have arrested a middle aged man identified as Ndubuisi Utom in Amaechara Agbo village in Afikpo North Local Government Area of the state for abusing his boss's three underage daughters.
Mr Utom, who works as a domestic staff for Chukwuemeka Aja, allegedly inserted his fingers into the private parts of the victims, who are aged between ages of five and eight, causing them severe pains. One close family source said that the screaming of the victims attracted their mother, who was cooking in the kitchen when the incident occurred.
He added: “The woman quickly contacted her husband and Utom was immediately handed over to policemen at Afikpo North Divisional Police to prevent angry youths, who had gathered, from lynching him.”
Reacting to the incident, police spokesman George Okafor, warned parents and guardians to be mindful of their children’s movements and who they associated with. Recently in Ebonyi State, a 35 year old man, Stephen Ude of Amuzu community in Amasiri, also in Afikpo North Local Government Area, was arrested for allegedly defiling a 10 year old boy, Victor Agha.
