Iheanacho keeps up his red hot goalscoring form helping City to 4-0 win over Bournemouth

altSUPER Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has continued his red hot scoring form by finding the back of the net yesterday and helping his club Manchester City to an easy 4-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium.

Sitting at the top of the English Premiership table with 15 points, Manchester City have a 100% record, having won all its five matches so far this season. Yesterday, Kevin De Bruyne put them in the lead in the 15th minute and Iheanacho, deputising for the injured Sergio Aguero made it two in the 25th minute, opening the floodgates for a comfortable victory.

In the second half, Manchester City, added further goals from Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan, who was making his Premier League debut, with their only disappointment being the late red card for Nolito. This is now the second successive week in which Iheanacho is scoring, making a claim for a permanent starting shirt.

Already, new Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr is under pressure to start Iheanacho as his main striker when the team faces Zambia in its forthcoming World Cup qualifier. Last weekend, Iheanacho scored the winner when Manchester City beat Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford.
