SUPER Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr has released the list of 25 players who will be called up for the November 12 2018 World Cup qualifier against Algeria's Desert Foxes in the Akwa Ibom State capital Uyo.
There are few surprises on the list but the coach has been brave and invited two new faces in
Dutch-Nigerian rightback Tyronne Ebuehi who plays for Ado Den Haag. To be eligible to feature for the game, however, Ebuehi, born of a Nigerian father and a Dutch mother, will need to be issued with a Nigerian passport.
Gernot Rohr is also said to have opted for Granada central defender Uche Agbo in preference to Rizespor's Godfrey Obabaoana. Also, John Ogu and Wilfred Ndidi are in the squad at the expense of Nosa Igiebor and Anderson Esiti.
Oghenekaro Etebo is in the squad but teenager Victor Osimhen has been omitted due to visa issues. Watford's Isaac Success has also been dropped due to injury, although his team mate Odion Ighalo is in the squad.
