Victor Moses and Isaac Success ruled out of Sunday's World Cup qualifier away to Zambia

altNIGERIA'S Super Eagles will be without the services of Chelsea winger Victor Moses and Watford striker Isaac Success for Sunday's World Cup qualifier away to Zambia after both players picked up injuries over the weekend.

This weekend, the Eagles play away to Zambia in their first match of the Russia 2018 qualification campaign in what is regarded as a match in which Nigeria musty get something. Team officials disclosed both players have withdrawn from the game taking place in Ndola after their English clubs reported they were injured.

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has replaced the players with two strikers from the domestic league. They are Godwin Obaje of Wikki Tourists and Chisom Egbuchulam from newly-crowned champions Enugu Rangers.

Moses, playing a new role as a wing-back, was man of the match for Chelsea in a 2-0 win at Hull City on Saturday but he injured his hamstring during the game. Success, 20, for his part, was set to honour his first Super Eagles call-up after he scored his first Premier League goal at the weekend at home against Bournemouth but his club has withdrawn him from the game as a precaution.
